The Hospice 2024 Calendar is part of a fundraising drive to support Hospice. Half the purchase price of $24.95 (GST Inc) is your contribution towards this worth while Community Organisation.

If you are in the Rotorua area you can purchase a Hospice Calendar directly from the Rotorua Community Hospice Shop located at 1134 Erurea Street, Rotorua. If you are not able to visit the Shop, or outside the Rotorua area  but you would like to help/contribute, you may purchase a calendar directly from this Hospice webpage.

This is a medium sized calendar, it measures 310mm wide and opens out to 594mm deep, still small enough to fit into an average size kitchen.

Hospice – “We are here for you, we provide free of charge care for people living with life limiting illnesses”.

To give you some idea about how Hospice Rotorua supports its community, we have listed a few of their many services. Reading through these services is more of a reason this Community group needs your financial support.

Palliative Care

Palliative Care is provided to improve the quality of life of people with a life limiting illness. Our team are specialists in Palliative Care. We work with your GP and other healthcare professionals to help you manage your symptoms and enjoy the best possible quality of life.

Make a Referral

A referral is normally made by a person’s GP or hospital doctor, although an individual or family member can self refer. Please click on the link to make a referral.

Family Support

We support whānau and friends both before and after death including a bereavement follow up service.

Advance Care Planning

Advance Care Planning enables patients to record their wishes to guide whānau and health professionals in their end of life care.

Equipment Loan

We have a wide range of equipment available on loan to patients including beds and pressure mattresses, shower stools, walking frames and wheelchairs. We deliver and install these at no cost for our patients.

Resources for Whanau & Carers

We provide resources for whānau and carers of hospice patients, including tools for coping, self-care and easing the journey of their loved one.

Life Biography Service

We offer the opportunity to tell your story and have it recorded for your loved ones through our biography service.

Prayer Group

Spend time in quiet thought and prayer for the Hospice service, staff, clients and their whanau. Prayer Group meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 2:00pm at Hospice.
