From 2017 – 2019, I would make the trek to Coromandel to spend a weekend at the Leadfoot Festival.

It was not just all fun, I would also suffer sunburn, racing deafness, my nostrils would fill with the smoke from burning rubber, I would become dehydrated and especially suffer when re-hydrating. Then to top if off there was the banter and BS.

The Leadfoot Festival provided me a semi-pro photographer with an amazing spectacle in which I could practice my passion, taking good photographs while enjoying the action.

At the conclusion of the weekend, we all agreed to make the same migration to Leadfoot the next year, however this is no longer an option.
